Events
Formal BCU Paddlepower courses are held on Monday evenings throughout the Summer months (April to October) at Hinckley. Please contact our Secretary for further information, or to make a booking.
Alongside these formal courses, we offer less formal sessions for those already having completed the introductory courses. These are open to all District Scouts holding the Two Star, or Paddlepower Explore awards, or that have been otherwise invited. Scouts must register with the Secretary before attending.
In the winter we hold sessions in the pool for both beginners and the more advanced paddlers. Please contact the Secretary to make a booking.
A provisional 2010 programme is provided below. Note that it is highly unlikely that we will be attending all of the competitions mentioned. Please let us know if you are interested in a particular event - this will influence the decision as to whether or not we attend. The more important events are in bold.
