Formal British Canoeing skills training courses are held on Monday and Tuesday evenings throughout the Summer months (April to October) at Hinckley. Please contact our Secretary for further information, or to make a booking.
Alongside these formal courses, we offer less formal sessions for those already having completed the introductory courses. These are open to all District Scouts holding the Two Star, or Paddlepower Discover awards, or that have been otherwise invited. Scouts must register with the Secretary before attending.
In the winter we hold sessions in the pool for both beginners and the more advanced paddlers.
See the menu item on the left for details of winter slalom training.
